Azerbaijani Prime Minister meets with diplomatic advisor to French President

Azerbaijani Prime Minister Novruz Mammadov has met with Diplomatic Advisor to the French President Philippe Etienne as part of his working visit to Paris.
They discussed relations between the two countries in political, economic, cultural and humanitarian areas, as well as the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Azerbaijan-EU relationship and regional geopolitical situation. They emphasized the importance of organizing high level reciprocal visits between the two countries.
Prime Minister Novruz Mammadov highlighted Azerbaijan`s position on the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. He noted that Azerbaijan expects France to increase its efforts towards finding a solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in compliance with the norms and principles of international law, particularly in accordance with the relevant UN Security Council resolutions and within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
