Azerbaijani sculptor becomes honorary member of Russian Academy of Arts

A meeting of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts was held in Moscow. President of the Russian Academy of Arts, People's Artist of the USSR Zurab Tsereteli presented Yefim Zverkov award to Vice President of the Russian Academy of Arts, People's Artist of Azerbaijan and Russia Tahir Salahov and academic regalia of the Honorary Member of Russian Academy of Arts to Azerbaijani sculptor, Honored Artist of Azerbaijan, professor of Azerbaijan State Academy of Arts Akif Asgarov. Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu attended the event.
