AZERBAIJANI WRESTLERS BACK HOME FROM POLAND WITH ONE SILVER MEDAL
International Greco-roman wrestling tournament in memory of renowned Polish wrestler Petlisinski wrapped up in Warsaw.
The tournament brought together over 200 athletes from nearly 20 countries. It was only Elbrus Mammadov (66 kg) out of 6 Azerbaijani wrestlers who performed well by winning a silver medal. Azerbaijan team finished fifth.
The tournament was the last test for Azerbaijani athletes who are going to compete in the world championship to be held from September 25 through October 1 in China.
