AZERBAIJANIS IN UKRAINE AND BELARUS VOTED FOR ILHAM ALIYEV
As was informed by special correspondent of AzerTAj in Kiev, the elections in Ukraine and Belarus, according to the information of the ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Talat Aliyev, were held. As a result, in Ukraine for the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev voted 95,41% of the electors. In Belarus, the figure was 100%. Thus, enjoying their Constitutional rights, Azerbaijanis residing in these countries, voted for strong, democratic and prosperous Azerbaijan. They supported succession of the farseeing and wise policy of Heydar Aliyev aimed at building of the new Azerbaijan.
The elections passed in free, democratic atmosphere, T. Aliyev noted. By the way, for the first time in Azerbaijan, as a GUUAM member-country used at the election campaign transparent urns for voting. None of the observers, who came to the Embassy, said T. Aliyev, registered violation.
The election campaign on elections for Azerbaijan President aroused interest in Ukraine and Belarus mass media.
