Azerbaijan`s chief customs officer meets Argentina's officials
Baku, February 28 (AZERTAC). Chairman of the Azerbaijan State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev held a number of meetings as part of his visit to Argentine.
According to Azerbaijan`s Foreign Ministry, Mr. Aliyev met with Argentina's Industry minister Debora Giorgi. The sides exchanged views on current state of trade turnover between the countries and prospects for expanding economic relations.
Mrs. Giorgi noted she plans to visit Azerbaijan later this year, accompanied by Argentinean businessmen.
Chairman of the Azerbaijan State Customs Committee also met with president of the Argentinean Industrial Union Miguel Acevedo and Buenos Aires Stock Exchange President Adelmo Gabbi. Discussions revolved around opportunities for encouraging these organizations to enhance Azerbaijani-Argentinean economic cooperation.
Mr. Aliyev also held a meeting with Horacio Gonzalez, director of the National Library of Argentina. Mr. Gonzalez was presented various books published by the Azerbaijan State Customs Committee.
Chairman of the Azerbaijan State Customs Committee talked with director of the National Art Museum of Argentina Maria Ines and presented her Karabakh and Shirvan carpets.
