Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Energy, Norwegian Equinor Absheron sign MoU

Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Energy and Norwegian Equinor Absheron AS have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The document was signed by Deputy Minister of Energy Samir Valiyev and Equinor Absheron AS Manager for Azerbaijan Fawad Quraishi.
The parties together will assess the potential of renewable energy sources in Azerbaijan, form common principles for the use of alternative energy and consider areas of cooperation to create conditions for investment.
The memorandum will help the development, financing and implementation of the renewable energy projects in Azerbaijan.
