Azerbaijan`s President offers Independence Day greetings to Georgian counterpart
May 25 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to his Georgian counterpart Mikheil Saakashvili on the country`s national holiday, Independence Day.
The letter says Azerbaijan and Georgia were bound together by strong friendly and good-neighborly relationship which has deep historical roots. Today these relations are clearly reflecting the will of the two countries` peoples.
The Head of State expressed confidence that “we will further make joint efforts to successfully continue fruitful cooperation between the two countries both bilaterally and within regional organizations and projects.
President Ilham Aliyev wished the Georgian leader robust health, happiness, successes in his activities and the friendly people of Georgia peace and prosperity.
