Azerbaijan`s products arouse great interest in California
California, January 21 (AZERTAC). As earlier reported, production of Azerbaijan companies AZERSUN, АZNAR, M-PRO, "Sirab", “Badamly” and "Haji Jamalkhan" have been presented for the first time at the exhibition of specialized food production, the largest in the western region of the USA, in the city of San Francisco. Participation of the Azerbaijan companies at the exhibition where 1300 manufacturers from 35 world countries have been presented became possible thanks to support of the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan, AZPROMO and Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles.
Quality and assortment of the Azerbaijan food products, in particular pomegranate juice and fruit jams, have caused a great interest of visitors of the exhibition, and the pomegranate sauces and products from feijoa have been included by organizers of the exhibition in a special category of the new products deserving special attention.
The chief executive of Azerbaijan Investment Company Afgan Isayev who has held exploratory talk with representatives interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan of the parties has taken part in exhibition work, has discussed potential joint projects with the president of commercial-industrial chamber of San Francisco Steve Falk. At meetings Afgan Isayev spoke of activity of the Azerbaijan Investment Company, noting that development of the food-processing industry, biotechnologies and other directions is a component of expedient policy of the country`s leaders on diversification of national economy.
