Azerbaijan`s Republic day celebrated in different countries of world
Baku, May 31 (AZERTAC). An event to celebrate 28 May - Republic Day of Azerbaijan supported by Heydar Aliyev Foundation's Representation in Turkey was held in Eskisehir city.
The Azerbaijan circle in Eskisehir organized a photo exhibition within the framework of the celebrations.
The event brought together members of The Azerbaijan circle in Eskisehir, Azeri students and teachers living in Turkey.
Head of the Circle Javid Aydin thanked Heydar Aliyev Foundation's Representation in Turkey for the celebration event. He provided information on the history of People`s Republic of Azerbaijan, the first democratic republic in the East, architect and founder of Azerbaijani state, national leader Heydar Aliyev. Javid Aydin stressed Azerbaijani youth living in Turkey support the policy of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev.
The event also featured performance of Azeri music and feast.

Azerbaijan Embassy in Poland organized a reception on the occasion of 28 May - Republic Day in Hyatt Regency hotel, Warsaw.
The reception brought together members of Polish President`s Administration, representatives of diplomatic corps accredited in Warsaw, Azerbaijani Diaspora, students, mass media.
Azerbaijan ambassador to Poland Hasan Hasanov provided information on the People`s Republic of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev`s policy in the restoration of independence of Azerbaijan, works done by Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, polish architectures, militaries and political figures operated in Azerbaijan in the XIX-XX centuries.
The event featured demonstrations of video clip of Azerbaijan winners` song in Eurovision-201, documentary on historical places, tourism zones, fauna and flora of the country accompanied by Vagif Mustafazade`s music and Azerbaijani cuisine.

Azerbaijan Embassy in Korea organized a reception on the occasion of 28 May - Republic Day in Millennium Hilton hotel, Seoul.
The reception brought together the Korean first deputy minister of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs Han Man-hi, members of government, heads and employees of diplomatic corps accredited in Seoul, Azerbaijanis living there, representatives of local community and mass media.
Azerbaijan ambassador to Korea Rovshan Jamshidov informed participants on the history of Azerbaijan statehood and Republic Day. The ambassador expressed that his confidence that Azerbaijani occupied territories will be released touching upon Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Azeri diplomat also stressed bilateral cooperation in some spheres between Azerbaijan and Korea.
Korean first deputy minister congratulated Azerbaijan nation on the occasion of 28 May - Republic Day. Deputy Minister also underlined that Korea is interesting in cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Films on Azerbaijan `s history, culture, economy and tourism potential were demonstrated at the event.

An event initiated by Unit Azerbaijan Circle was organized in Folkets Park of Malmo city, Sweden.
Information was provided on 28 May-Republic Day, the history, economy, social development, progress achieved, as well as the country`s victory in Eurovision 2011 Song Contest in both languages.
Photos, different books, audio and video materials on Azerbaijan were demonstrated at the exhibition opened there.
