Azerbaijan`s State Social Protection Fund chairman meets Swedish Social Insurance Agency representatives
Baku, June 9 (AZERTAC). Chairman of Azerbaijan`s State Social Protection Fund Salim Muslumov has today met with a delegation led by Adriana Lender, Director General of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.
The meeting focused on prospects for the expansion of cooperation between the two countries` relevant organizations.
Employees of the Azerbaijan`s State Social Protection Fund learn the experience of other countries in preparation of legislative base for non-state pension funds, Muslumov said. Ensuring social security of Azerbaijanis living in Sweden also was discussed at the meeting.
Ms. Lender, in turn, said that the start of the Swedish social insurance system dates back to the beginning of the last century and encompasses many separate benefits.
