Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity should be restored without any pre-condition
Baku, April 13 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity should be restored without any pre-condition, stated president Ilham Aliyev at the Cabinet`s meeting on outcomes of socio-economic development in the first quarter of 2011.
Noting that in the whole, Azerbaijan plays very positive role in strengthening of safety measures in region, the Head of State said the country is a stability factor in region and pursues successful policy in all fields.
“In settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh conflict we adhere a stable position”, President of Azerbaijan stressed. The international legal norms have to be completely fulfilled. The UN Security Council`s Four Resolutions should be implemented as the resolutions of the UN SC were implemented after several hours they were adopted. That is, I have already stated this. I reiterate, this is injustice, this is double-standard, and this discrimination can by no means be explained. The Armenians have committed genocide against Azerbaijanis. They have committed the Khojaly genocide. Innocent people were brutally murdered by the Armenians. And the world remained indifferent to this.”
Noting that Azerbaijani lands recognized by world community are under the Armenian occupation for many years, the President said the adopted documents of authoritative world organizations definitely demand withdrawal of the aggressor troops from the occupied areas. And the questions still remains unresolved. “Territorial integrity of Azerbaijan should be restored, the occupation should be put an end. Patience of Azerbaijani people is not endless”, President Aliyev underlined.
