Azeri FM meets his US counterpart in Munich
Baku, February 6 (AZERTAC). Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov met with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on the sidelines of the 47th Munich Security Conference.
The parties discussed Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Mammadyarov briefed his American counterpart on the Azerbaijan`s stance on the conflict.
For her part, Mrs. Clinton noted the time had come to solve the problem. The US top diplomat thanked Azerbaijan for contribution to counterterrorism operations in Afghanistan.
The diplomats also shared their opinions on bilateral, regional and energy issues, developments in the Middle East and others.
