Azeri FM meets UN High Commissioner for Refugees
Baku, May 19 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has today met with United Nations (UN) High Commissioner for Refugees António Guterres.
The sides discussed regional and international activity of the Commissioner.
Guterres praised progress achieved in Azerbaijan to improve living conditions of IDPs.
Azeri minister briefed the Commissioner on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and noted withdrawal of Armenia`s armed forces from occupied lands of Azerbaijan would positively influnece the peace talks.
Guterres said the current situation regarding the conflict can be in no way tolerated.
