AZERI ICT MINISTER MEETS KOREAN DELEGATION
Baku, July 30 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Minister of Communication and Information Technology Ali Abbasov has met Korean delegation including officials of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Institute of Science and Technology, University of Seoul and several companies.
During the meeting, Abbasov said the Korean delegation`s visit would contribute to strengthening ICT cooperation between the two countries.
The Minister said development of ICT sector was one of priorities of the Azerbaijani government`s policy.
The Minister noted his country attaches great importance to cooperation with Korea which had achieved great progress in technologies.
The delegation members said Korea was taking an active part in some projects being carried out in Azerbaijan.
They expressed hope that cooperation with the Azerbaijani government, particularly the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology would be successful.
The sides also discussed prospects for cooperation on establishment of e-government and e-education systems.
