Azeri MP meets head of Democratic Party of Turks in Macedonia
Baku, June 9 (AZERTAC). Deputy of Milli Majlis, member of Azerbaijani delegation to PACE Qanira Pashayeva met the head of the Democratic Party of Turks in Macedonia, parliamentarian Kenan Hasip during her visit to the country.
The party led by Kenan Hasip participated in the 5 June parliamentary elections in a coalition with the currently ruling Macedonia National Unity Party. The coalition emerged as a winner in the elections.
The Azerbaijani MP congratulated the leadership of the Democratic Party of Turks on the victory and wished them success.
The MP also met Macedonian State Minister of Turkish origin Hadi Nezir.
Pashayeva said that Armenian terrorist organizations and armed groups committed genocide against Azerbaijani Turks not only in late 20th century, but also at the beginning of 21st century.
Qanira Pashayeva presented books, informative materials and CDs on Azerbaijani realities to the Macedonian officials.
