Azeri scientists attend international congress on phenomenology in Turkey
Baku, July 8 (AZERTAC). Azeri scientists participated in the 61st International Congress of Phenomenology on the topic “Human Positioning in the Cosmos -The life - World, Nature, and Earth” in Istanbul Kultur University, Turkey.
Head of the Azerbaijani delegation, corresponding member of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), Professor Salahaddin Khalilov was elected a member of the honorable presidium in the plenary meeting.
Reports by Khalilov and Konul Bunyadzade aroused interest in the event.
Head teacher in Baku State University, Doctor Mehriban Gasimova and scientific researcher of the Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Law of ANAS, doctor Samira Hasanova participated in the discussions.
The five-day congress featured discussions on topical problems of phenomenology and debates of scientists and experts.
It was decided to hold one of the next forums of the Congress of Phenomenology in Baku.
The congress organized by the Istanbul Kultur University was chaired by president of the World Phenomenology Institute, Professor Anna-Teresa Tymieniecka.
The congress brought together delegations from Azerbaijan, US, Turkey, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Norway, Hungary, Romania, Argentine, the Republic of South Africa, Latvia, Georgia, Poland, Russia and others.
