BAKU HOSTS SEMINAR ON PROTECTION OF CUSTOMS AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
The Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property and the country`s Embassy in Baku have co-organized a seminar on protection of customs and intellectual property rights for Azerbaijani customs specialists.
Speaking at the event, Major General Shahin Bagirov, Head of Customs Control Management Department at Azerbaijan`s State Customs Committee, stressed the importance of combining international efforts to prevent violations of intellectual property rights.
High on the event`s agenda was increasing customs officers` awareness regarding the protection of intellectual property rights and introducing high technologies.
