OTS countries enhance healthcare cooperation

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Health Teymur Musayev participated in the 6th meeting of the Ministers of Health of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic.
Ministers and high-level officials responsible for health of the OTS Member States, as well as Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the OTS, participated in the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, Damirbek Osmonov, emphasized the importance of further developing cooperation in the field of health among the OTS member and observer states.
In his remarks, Minister Teymur Musayev underscored the importance of further expanding cooperation in the field of health among the Turkic states, implementing digital solutions, and enhancing mutual information exchange.
During the meeting, the ministers emphasized the significance of advancing cooperation in the field of health based on the Turkic World Vision – 2040 document and the OTS Strategy for 2022–2026.
At the end of the Meeting, the ministers signed the Joint Declaration and approved the Action Plan for Health Cooperation of the OTS for 2026–2027, which consolidates existing cooperation mechanisms into an integrated framework. They also agreed to strengthen the monitoring of implementation and focus their collective efforts on achieving concrete outcomes.
The ministers expressed their appreciation to the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic for hosting the meeting and agreed to hold the 7th meeting of the Ministers of Health of the OTS in Türkiye.
