Baku to host international construction exhibition in October
Baku, September 3 (AZERTAC). Bakubuild 2011, 17th Azerbaijan International Construction Exhibition organized by the Iteca Caspian LLc and its partner ITE Group PLC will take place on October 19-22 at the Baku Expo Center.
The international BakuBuild construction exhibition is the largest in the Caspian and Caucasus regions. This year's exhibition will break all records for the 40% growth in its exhibition area. Two months prior to the launch of the exhibition, the organizers have announced that 90% of the exhibition area has been allocated. Over 300 companies from Azerbaijan, Greece, Korea, Poland, UAE, Russia, Turkey, the Ukraine and other countries will participate in BakuBuild 2011. According to tradition, alongside individual stands, group displays will feature from Germany, Italy, Finland and Iran. It will be the first time a national group representing Portugal has attended an Azerbaijani exhibition. A large proportion of the space will be occupied by Turkish manufacturers, while local companies will make up 35% of the exhibitors. BakuBuild will showcase a vast range of construction equipment, finishing and facing materials, sanitaryware, equipment for the manufacturing of windows and much more. The distinguishing feature of this year’s exhibition will be that a large percentage of the exhibition will be focused on construction materials and equipment manufactured with the use of innovative technologies.
BakuBuild is supported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture and the Union of Architects of Azerbaijan Republic.
Aqua-Therm Baku - the 3rd International Exhibition for Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, Water Supply, Sanitary, Environmental Technology, Swimming Pools and Renewable Energies - will be held alongside BakuBuild. The event will feature more than 60 companies from Azerbaijan, Germany, Italy, Turkey and Sweden. For several years, a sector at BakuBuild has been devoted to heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, plumbing and water supply. As a result of the intensive development of this sector and the interest in it from local and international market participants, the sector has developed into an independent exhibition under the Aqua-Therm Baku brand. The organizers are Iteca Caspian, Fin-mark Srl., and ITE Group PLC.
Caspian MebelExpo 2011 - the 9th Caspian International Furniture, Interiors and Design Exhibition - the only specialised event for the furniture industry in the Caspian and Caucasus region will be held alongside the major Azerbaijani construction exhibition BakuBuild. Every year, Caspian MebelExpo demonstrates the diversity of products and offerings in the market, providing reliable information about the main trends in the region’s furniture industry, thus helping to attract investment in Azerbaijan’s furniture sector, and develop the industry and local production.
The fourth Caspian International Protection, Security and Rescue exhibition will be also held concurrently.
