BAKU TO HOST INT’L CONFERENCE ON COMBAT AGAINST NARCOTICS
The Conference is expected to gather representatives from the US, France, Turkey, Iran, Greta Britain and the United Kingdom of Northern Ireland, Russia, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Georgia, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Poland, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzia, Latvia, Moldova, Pakistan and Romania, as well as from the WCC, UN Department on Combat against Narcotics and Crimes, UNDP, European Commission, South-Eastern Europe Cooperation Initiative (SICI), US Agency for Combat against Narcotics, other regional and world Asian and Pacific countries, press service of SCC said.
The Conference will focus the inter-department strategies on combat against illegal circulation of narcotics through the Great Silk Road, review realization of the measures defined at the Tashkent conference in 2002, information technologies, international and regional cooperation and organizing issues.
Participants of the Conference also will have exchange of views on revelation of the narcotics and application of subsidiary technical means in this field, as well as adopt a Final Declaration.
