Baku White City Project participated at investment summit in Kiev
Baku, December 3 (AZERTAC). Investment Summit of the CIS and the Middle East, held on 25-26th of November 2010 in the Ukrainian capital, considered a long-term cooperation of countries of the two fastest developing regions in the world. Azerbaijan was presented by the Baku White City Project carried out within the context of the Decree of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic entitled “Comprehensive action plan for improving the ecological conditions in the Azerbaijan Republic during 2006 - 2010”, and opened for potential investments .
The presentation on “Investment Opportunities in Baku White City” was brought to the attention of the participants by the representatives of the project. During the presentation, listeners were provided with the information on successful economic development and investment opportunities in Azerbaijan, recognized by the World Bank as the best reformer in the field of economics.This fact caused greate interest of the summit participants.
The event was organized by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, National Bank of Ukraine, Ministry of Economy and Development of Ukraine. The summit brought together over 400 senior executives of companies operating in all sectors from 32 countries and caused interest in cooperation in the field of finance, investment and experience exchange.
