BOOK ON HEYDAR ALIYEV`S 80th ANNIVERSARY PUBLISHED
As is known, this international forum, held in Kiyev, on April 15, on the initiative and support of Azerbaijan Embassy to Ukraine, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Academy of State Administration under the President of Ukraine, the Institute of the International Relations after T. G. Shevchenko, Security Service Academy of Ukraine and Kiev State Administration became a vivid event in the socio-political and scientific life of Azerbaijan Republic and Ukraine.
The book consists of warm greetings conveyed to the conference participants by the President of Ukraine L. Kuchma, Chairman of Supreme Rada V. Litvin, as well as Speaker of Azerbaijan Parliament Murtuz Alasgarov. Speeches of the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova Talat Aliyev, Vice-Premier of Ukraine D. Tabachkin, MM deputy Ali Abbasov, people`s deputy of Ukraine Ivan Kuras, men of culture and sciences of the two countries, Members of Parliaments, as well as speeches of the conference participants related to the great merits of Heydar Aliyev in strengthening of the links of friendship between Azerbaijan and Ukraine, his role in development, prosperity of the country, and his invaluable contributions as politician of the world scale in establishment of peace, stability in the region.
The book comprises materials on Heydar Aliyev`s meetings with the delegation of Ukraine, visiting Baku, copies of diploma on awarding Heydar Aliyev with the highest order of Ukraine - international "Order of Honor" and title of honorary doctor of the Ukrainian Academy of the State Administration under the President of Ukraine.
Part of the letters of congratulation of the well-known politicians, workers of science and art of Ukraine addressed Heydar Aliyev on the occasion of his 80th anniversary were published in the book.
The book was issued by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine under sponsorship of Ukrainian Azerbaijanis Congress.
