BROADENING OF CASPIAN PIPELINE CONSORTIUM EXPECTED IN 2005-2006
The project of broadening of the Consortium of Caspian Pipeline (CCP) will probably be realized in 2005-2006, Russian Deputy Energy minister Oleg Gordeyev announced. He said when being adopted, the project of CCP envisaged transporting 60 Mln. tons of oil during next year that in its turn depends on the amount of oil produced by Kazakhstan and Russia. That is why, according to him, CCP is expected to be broadened stage-by-stage.
