Baku, July 27 (AZERTAC). Following yesterday`s intense rain and hail storms across Buenos Aires, the death toll rose to two, after a province government official informed a person in Lanús was killed due to a ceiling collapse.

The second victim of the fierce storms that hit Buenos Aires yesterday evening claimed the life of a person who was aged 65, and died after a ceiling collapsed on top of them, sources reported. Winds were registered up to 80km per hour, with the ferocity of the storm also claiming the life of a driver when a tree landed on his car last night. The storms also affected the central areas of the country and left five people injured in other areas.

The elevated temperatures experienced in the city yesterday are predicted to lower once again, according to SMN. Temperatures in Buenos Aires today are expected to reach lows of 8 degrees celcius and highs of 16 degrees.
