CBA`s chief meets WB regional director
Baku, December 3 (AZERTAC). Elman Rustamov, Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) today met with the delegation headed by World Bank regional director for South Caucasus Asad Alam. Parties discussed the prospects of future coop.
A joint program of economic research, the theme and format for conducting the second Economic Forum at a high level, as well as the plan for the Days of Azerbaijan in the World Bank office in Washington were focused on.
Asad Alam expressed satisfaction with the cooperation with Azerbaijan. He also praised the activity of the financial and banking sector in the country.
Rustamov said that a joint program of economic research plays an important role in strengthening of the potential of the research and development center, functioning under the CBA.
In the meeting, also were focused on other questions of future cooperation.
