CEC Chairman: 480 local observers registered for parliamentary elections so far

“To date, 480 local observers have been registered by Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) to monitor the snap parliamentary elections scheduled for September 1, 2024,” CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov said at a meeting held on Monday.
“344 of the local observers were registered on their own initiative, while 10 of them represent non-governmental organizations, and 126 obtained special permission,” the CEC chief added.
