CENTRAL ELECTION COMMISSION REGISTERED 968 INTERNATIONAL OBSERVERS
Until now, Central Election Commission has registered 968 international observers for the Presidential elections in Azerbaijan on October 15.The largest number of the observers (660) represent OSCE/ODIHR and CIS (163), AzerTAj was told in the Independent Press Center; PACE is represented by 32 while OSCE PA by 24. Among the newly registered observers, there are those from French National Assembly, Uzbekistani Parliament, Islamic Conference Organization, Permanent representation of Luxemburg in the Council of Europe, Parliament of the Organization of Black Sea Economic Cooperation and “Marmara” group (Turkey).
Reportedly, consideration of the documents for the registration of observers from the international organizations and mass media is now in progress.
