CEREMONY DEDICATED TO THE 80TH ANNIVERSARY OF TURKISH REPUBLIC
State anthems of Azerbaijani and Turkish Republic sounded.
Rector of the University, Milli Majlis member, Academician Ali Abbasov made introductory speech to the meeting, congratulated the participants of the action on the remarkable day and told about modern conditions for education at that faculty. On behalf of many-thousand personnel, he wished success to President-elect Ilham Aliyev, a worthy successor of the political course of the outstanding statesman Heydar Aliyev.
Ambassador of the Turkish Republic in Baku Ahmet Unal Cevikoz, speaking on warm friendly and fraternal relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan, expressed confidence that these relations will be further developing.
Minister of Education of Azerbaijan Misir Mardanov expressed his best wishes on the occasion of the holiday, underlined the significance of the relations between the two courtiers in the educational field.
