Chairman of Caucasian Muslims Office visits U.S.
Baku, April 24 (AZERTAC). Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade is visiting the United States as part of the events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the founding of US-Azerbaijan diplomatic relations.
During the visit, Pashazade will participate in “U.S.-Azerbaijan Relations: Vision for Future” conference due to take place in Washington from April 25 to 26.
The conference will feature discussions on economic, energy, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries, as well as the issue of strengthening tolerance.
Pashazade will be accompanied by deputy chairman of Caucasian Muslims Office, Haji Salman Musayev, Bishop Alexander Ishein of Baku, Head of the Catholic Church in Baku Vladimir Fekete and Chairman of the Mountain Jews community of Azerbaijan Milih Elhanovich.
