Close all Roma camps to safeguard kids

All Roma camps must be closed to safeguard children, Interior Minister and rightwing populist League leader Matteo Salvini said, ANSA reports.
"I'm glad the pope met Roma and Sinti kids in the Vatican: to safeguard them it is my goal to close all the camps, first identifying who lives in them, assuring myself that the children go to school and are not brought up to steal and are not forced to live in situations of decay, filth, violence and illegality," he said.
Salvini recalled that there are some 30,000 people living in authorised and 'spontaneous' Roma camps.
