Company Azersun to expand activity in the Russian markets
Moscow, January 31 (AZERTAC). Founded in 1991 in Azerbaijan, the group of companies "Azersun Holding" is for today the lead company of the country not only in the field of food production, trade and agriculture, and also one of the leading companies-exporters.
The Company "Azersun" is one of the first who has responded to the appeal of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic to business community about necessity of expansion of geography of investment participation of the Azerbaijan business for other countries and activity scales, Ilham Seyidov, official representative of affiliated company in Russia «SUN Trade" told AZERTAC correspondent. "Following this, our company has opened on September 2, 2010 in the city of Belorechensk of Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation a new tea factory. At the opening ceremony present were the vice-governor of Krasnodar Territory Janbulat Khatuov and the chairman of board of directors, the president of our company Abdolbari Gozal. Now, in Belorechensk, we have started production and three sorts of tea are being produced.
He also told that along with it, in Belorechensk "we are going to build a new factory with capacity of fruit-vegetable food of 50 million cans a year. Investment cost of the project (cannery and agricultural complex) operation of which will begin in 2012, at the initial stage makes about 8 million dollars.
According to the representative of the company, in 2010 “Azersun Holding” has opened affiliated firm "Tatarsun" which also successfully works in Tatarstan.
Responding the question on “difficultly to win the Russian markets”, Ilham Seyidov told that it is impossible to tell that we have won the Russian market as it is a huge market. “This is infinitely large market and to come to this market is remarkable. But it is a drop in the sea, and we will put all forces to capture more and more the markets, to develop and adequately to represent our country abroad”, Ilham Seyidov underlined.
