The fourth Congress of the Assembly of Kyrgyz peoples (AKP) was held in the city of Bishkek, capital of Kyrgyz Republic, AzerTAj correspondent reported. The Forum was attended over 700 representatives form 31 national cultural centers, heads of the state and governmental bodies, staff members of the diplomatic missions.

The Azerbaijani Diaspora was represented by delegation of the “Azeri” Cultural Center led by its president Akif Allahverdiyev.

President of Kyrgyz Republic stressed the role of the Assembly of Kyrgyz Peoples in the establishment of national cohesion and stability, presented the Assembly the “Danaker” Order for merits in this field.

The President also gave numerous prizes to the representatives of minorities.

Participants of the Congress discussed the draft of development of the ethnic conception of Kyrgyz republic, adopted an Address to the peoples residing in the Country.
