CROATIAN STATE OIL COMPANY POISED TO CO-OPERATE WITH SOCAR

Croatian State Oil Company /CSOC/ is ready to cooperate with the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan /SOCAR/, said CSOC’s official representative, head of the “Attas PR” company Fatima G. Aslan.

She noted the agreement on exploration of the new offshore oilfield between CSOC and SOCAR had already been clinched and the specialists are now, gathering necessary data on the area. “Works on the analysis of the seismic, geological and bed features have almost completed. The next phase envisages the commencement of the direct works in the oilfield”, F. Aslan said.

Croatian Company has pursued its activity since 1968 in the world oil-gas market, working actively in Syria, Egypt, Angola and Albania.
