Czech President embarks on official visit to Azerbaijan
Baku, May 16 (AZERTAC). President of the Czech Republic Václav Klaus has today arrived in Azerbaijan for an official visit.
A guard of honor was lined up for the President at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport decorated with the national flags of Azerbaijan and Czechia.
President Klaus was welcomed here by First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov and other officials.
The Czech President and his wife Livia Klausová were given flowers.
President Klaus and Azerbaijan`s First Deputy Premier had a brief meeting at the airport`s VIP room.
