DEMOCRATIC FORCES URGE PEOPLE TO MAINTAIN STABILITY

“Enlisting all our efforts we must maintain the political stability in the country”. This ised was sounded during the “round table” discussion held by the Social Welfare Party of Azerbaijan /SWPA/ together with Political Innovations and Technologies Center.

SWPA Chairman, Milli Majlis deputy Khanhuseyn Kazimli said at the People’s Press Club that as presidential elections come political situation is getting strained, and certain forces even frankly encourage the people to confrontation. These are mainly those who realize they are doomed to failure in the elections, but do not want to go off the political arena. Therefore, the main objective of the forces interested in maintenance of the political stability in Azerbaijan is to urge the population for unanimity.

Leader of the Center of Political Innovations and Technologies Mubariz Ahmedoglu stated that some organizations and foreign forces are interested in undermining stability in Azerbaijan. From the point of the socio-political stability, they want to see Azerbaijan at the same level with Armenia. That is why they instigate their followers to undermine stability.

Leaders of “Alliance in the name of Azerbaijan”, “Ana Veten” and Republicans stressed the necessity to maintain stability in Azerbaijan and active population’s involvement into the elections.
