DUTIES IMPOSED ON IMPORTED FOODS IN UZBEKISTAN
The duty will be imposed on foodstuff imported duty-free before. The Cabinet of Ministers has issued a decree “On measures to further upgrade and adjust the customs regulations”.
120 items of foodstuff will be imposed a 5-percent duty. These are milk, butter, cheese, curd, meet, fish, tea, oils etc. The application of new rules will allow protecting local producers and pursuing tariff policy, State Customs Committee reported.
