El Salvador three-way bus crash kills 11, injures 79
Baku, February 22 (AZERTAC). At least 11 people were killed and another 79 were injured today when three buses and a commercial truck crashed in El Salvador, police and rescue services said.
The toll may rise further with many of the 79 injured in serious condition, police said after the crash, which occurred on the Pan-American Highway some 40 km outside San Salvador, the capital.
Authorities blamed the accident on the actions of the driver of a separate private vehicle.
It was unclear if that car was also caught up in the crash.
