ELECTORS ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS
Presidential elections in Azerbaijan launched on October 15, at 8:00 a.m.
Speaking to the journalists in the Elections Information Center chairman of the Central Election Commission Mazahir Panakhov noted that all necessary conditions for free voting had been created for over 4 million citizens in 5129 polling stations of 124 election districts. The elections are being watched by 1000 international and 42 thousand local observers. Some 34 polling stations have been created in 24 foreign countries.
Up to 625 747 or 14,29 percent of voters have voted by 12:00, Elections Information Center reported.
