Ethiopian delegation visits “ASAN Khidmet” Center

An Ethiopian delegation of mayors and their deputies from 18 cities, led by Mayor of Addis Ababa Adanech Abebe, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan to participate in the 13th Session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13), visited the “ASAN Khidmet” Center in Baku.
The delegation was briefed on the activities of the “ASAN Khidmet” centers, established at the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, as well as on various projects implemented in the field of social innovation.
Ethiopia now has 36 service centers functioning under the “ASAN Khidmet” model, with plans to expand to over 100 centers by the year’s end.
As a result of collaboration with the State Agency, the first MESOB Service Center, established on the basis of Azerbaijan’s “ASAN Khidmet” concept, was inaugurated in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in June 2025.
The guests were also briefed about the operations of the “ASAN Khidmet” center, the “INNOLAND” Incubation and Acceleration Center, the Mobile ASAN Service, and the “ABAD” public legal entity.
