EU ATTACHES GREAT IMPORTANCE TO COOPERATION WITH AZERBAIJAN
Noting that development of the relations between the European Union and Azerbaijan is of great significance, Minister Vilayat Guliyev spoke of necessity of expansion of cooperation with this Organization.
The Minister updated the guests on the work conducted in the field of resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno Karabakh conflict, dwelled with damage the conflict caused to the country’s economy, stating that the 15 October Presidential elections was evidence to the integration of Azerbaijan republic to the democratic values of the common European family.
Head of the delegation Mr. Heike Talvitie said the Organization he represents, attaches great importance to the cooperation with Azerbaijan and adheres intensive development of the mutual relations between Azerbaijan and EU.
Touching upon the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Mr. Heike Talvitie expressed a hope that the conflict would be peacefully solved with the efforts of the international community.
