European Commissioner for Enlargement visits Aghdam

Marta Kos, the European Commissioner for Enlargement, visited Aghdam city on Thursday.
AZERTAC’s regional correspondent reports that Emin Huseynov, Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan, briefed the guest about ongoing construction efforts and projects in Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khojavend districts.
The European Commissioner then viewed the demining activities in the Sarijali village of Aghdam. She was informed that after the liberation of these territories, demining operations began, and to date, large areas have been cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance.
Then, the guest observed the process of mine neutralization.
