Ankara, February 14, AZERTAC
On February 14, an exhibition titled “Love is Art, Art is Love” opened at the “Saküder” Art Gallery in Ankara. The exhibition showcases the works of 43 artists from various countries around the world, including Azerbaijan.
The representative of “Saküder,” artist Güneş Abbas, told AZERTAC that the opening of the exhibition was intentionally timed to coincide with Valentine’s Day.
“Today, we are presenting the works of artists from Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Antalya, Diyarbakır, and Adana, alongside masterpieces by brush masters from Azerbaijan, Iran, and Russia,” noted Abbas.
According to the representative, visitors have the opportunity to explore works by prominent Azerbaijani artists such as Arif Huseynov, Sirus Mirzazadeh, Fikrat Ibrahimli, Turan Huseynov, Sevda Rustamova, Adem Shirinli, and others.
The exhibition will run until February 28. On the final day, an art auction will be held for the works that have not been sold during the month-long display.
G. Abbas emphasized that for 21 years, the “Saküder” gallery has been contributing to the development of art globally and supporting the creativity of talented artists. The gallery also maintains a representative office in Azerbaijan, and a portion of the collection is traditionally exhibited in Paris.
In addition to numerous exhibitions, “Saküder” organizes courses in piano, vocals, and painting, many of which are taught by specialists from Azerbaijan.
