Finland: `Paradise Oskar – Da Da Dam` to Eurovision
Baku, February 15 (AZERTAC). The first country to determine its Eurovision entry tonight was Finland. The Finnish public selected Paradise Oskar and his song “Da Da Dam” to represent them in Düsseldorf in May. Ten artists had competed in the national final of “Euroviisut 2011″. Paradise Oskar, Sara Alto and Father McKenzie had made it into the superfinal. Out of the two ballads and the rock song the Finnish chose the guitar ballad by Paradise Oskar.
In the super final Paradise Oskar got 47% of the vote beating out Sara Alto with 41% and Father McKenzie with 12%. The winning song talks about a guy who “went out into the world to save our`planet”.
