Forbes names Bill Gates world's richest man

Bill Gates, the co-founder of US technology giant Microsoft, was named Tuesday the world’s richest man by the Forbes Magazine, according to Sputnik News.
Gates’ fortune stands at $75 billion. The Microsoft founder also topped last year’s rating.
Spanish fashion businessman Amancio Ortega, the founder of the Inditex group, best known for its chain of Zara shops, and US investor Warren Buffett were also among the richest people, with $67 billion and $60.8 billion, respectively.
According to the magazine, the combined wealth of top 20 richest people fell by over $70 billion since last year, standing at $827 billion.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was the biggest gainer, seeing his wealth grow by $11.2 billion.
