FORCES TRYING TO FRUSTRATE THE ELECTIONS INTENSIFY THEIR ACTIVITIES

The statement received by press service of the Central Election Commission reads that leaders of a number of oppositional parties, registered as Presidential nominees are working out the plan of actions to cause unrest on the day of elections and next days, try to disparage doubts over the results of fair and transparent elections, to convince international monitors on the current elections.

Reliable sources report that according to the agreement between leaders of the Musavat, PNIA, PPFA and DPA, on the day of elections members of these parties will start a scandal in polling stations with the presence of international monitors and will try to involve representatives of the authorities being on guard of law and order, into the process of elections. Besides, leaders of those parties gave assignment to their representatives in district election commissions not to sign the protocols.

They managed to reach the agreement with some local and foreign mass media on informational support of their actions. Press service of CEC received information that “law defense” organizations under the control of opposition will also take part in this provocation of oppositional circles.
