FOREIGN INVESTORS INTERESTED IN AZERBAIJAN’S ICT FIELD, ALI ABBASOV

“The foreign investments will be directed towards implementation of some regional projects in the field of Information and Communication Technologies” Ali Abbasov, ICT Minister said.

One of them- project of the regional innovation zone, the other is connected with the creation of the space communication system in Azerbaijan.

The system will serve not only the county’s market, but also the regional market. The foreign investors mostly interested in the project “Transnational Eurasia High-Speed Information Highway”, which was discussed November 11 by the representatives of 20 countries.

The favorable geographical location of Azerbaijan, as well as the highest growth in economy of the country and the fact that the government attaches great importance to the regional projects, stimulates the foreign investors to visit Azerbaijan and invest in ICT field.
