FRIENDLY UKRAINE BOLSTERS AZERBAIJANI DISABLED
In the beginning, a film of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Population narrating on conditions created for disabled in Azerbaijan was demonstrated.
Opening the event, Minister Ali Nagiyev informed the participants that this noble action is being taken by the embassy of friendly Ukraine to Baku and it would be a moral support to patients. Ali Nagiyev stressed that granting of 15 wheelchairs is the result of meetings with Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Ukraine Mikhail Papiyev during his visit to Baku. In the course of the meeting with Ilham Aliyev who held a position of Prime Minister then, M. Papiyev touched upon the bilateral cooperation between the countries and solid ties established in social sphere. He promised to give wheelchairs made in Ukraine to disabled. He noted that this is the manifestation of friendly relations between both countries.
Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Nagiyev noted that the social sphere is always under supervision of the State and Government of Azerbaijan. Minister stressed that distributing of cars to Karabakh disabled is an example of State care over those injured.
