Frozen conflicts ‘potential threat’ to security of South Caucasus
Baku, May 14 (AZERTAC). The frozen conflicts are potential threat to security of the South Caucasus region, NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said.
Rasmussen noted security questions in the South Caucasus are very important for the Alliance.
He pointed out all international organizations and leading countries of the world try to establish peace and stability in the region and must continue their work in this direction.
According to the Secretary General, the only way to ensure security is the broadest possible cooperation among nations and organizations.
Rasmussen said “now we have great opportunities to ensure security not only in Europe, but across the entire Euro-Atlantic area, as well as South Caucasus.”
