Gabonese Minister: Azerbaijan supports development in housing and urbanization
Baku, May 17, AZERTAC
“This forum is important because it provides an opportunity to discuss urbanization issues facing our countries. I come from Gabon, where urbanization remains one of the key issues at the center of public attention,” said Mays Mouissi, Minister of Housing, Habitat, Urban Planning and Land Registry of Gabon, in an exclusive interview with AZERTAC held within the framework of the 13th Session of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13).
“We have come here both to seek solutions and to present the work being carried out in our country toward managed urbanization and improving housing conditions for the population. I believe that Azerbaijan has made significant progress in this field and, by hosting such a forum, demonstrates its political will to support development in the areas of housing and urbanization. We highly appreciate this,” the minister noted.
