GENDER POLICY SUCCESSFULLY REALIZED IN AZERBAIJAN
According to SCWP, the report includes information on work carried out for protection of women’s rights, and realization of the gender policy; it was mentioned that the Committee had put the importance of the passing the law on domestic violence against women in the forefront, drawn up the national activity plan regarding the women’s problems, and formed the “Coalition 1325” group to spread the principles of the UN SC’s Resolution No 1325.
For the time being, the Committee is engaged in fulfilling the “Women’s Participation in Decision making” recommendations adopted by the COE Committee of Ministers.
